Random
on friday evening, the Ribbon Sistas attended a simple but fulfilling dinner for our dajie:

SaL's 特点: frizzy curls, juon-size pupil contact lens, big accessories, and big see-thru bag.
I spend my whole sat packing my room. my nose is sensitive to dust, sneeze and tear non-stop once i start packing. but NOW! FEAR NOT! wahaha~ becoz i got a pack of mask fr daiso and it's pink! todally a saviour!
and today, yet another BMP ktv marathon. this time, Beng took his long-time Armani frames with him. we cam whore a little as usual, and he did this collage for us. i reali like this! ok, this will be our promo foto for our new album! wahahaha!

whr do i go fr here?
alo.
've busy for a while, caught up with trg progs & backlots.
Feb is my 8th yr since i started working full-time.
i count myself lucky to hv spend my initial 3yr8mths with an aggressive charity, working everything the commercial way.
i'm lucky enough to be whr i am now, putting together lots of HRD trainings, whr i get to know how to be more in-touch with myself as well.
but... y am i still at this level?
something muz be wrong.
with my job? or me?
we all work for a diff purpose. money, stability, passion, trying it out...
i'm searching for mine.

went chinatown with mum n sis on new yr's day
had dinner at honglim food centre. the wanton mee stall tht sis used to patronised everyday is stil ard, and a big plate of mee is stil at $2!! we ta-bao for daddy, and he 赞不绝口! the char kuay-teow is $2 also. but i'm more impressed with 60+ yr ah-ma who fried this. sis say she also collect and did the dishes all by herself! she's stil going strong! ppl, who say old liao no use??
it's ker's bday soon, and we dine out at aburiya robertson quay. nice (and little pricey) meat, but i cant eat much coz not feeling well. only knew got food poisoning when i merlion-ed my whole pack of char-siew rice out. x_x
mr lee and mr wong ate a whole BBQ garlic and got reali bad 'inflammation' in the intestine after tt. nv seen the big boys so miserable before. so beware of those garlic! they are not as innocent as they seem!
watching Red Cliff 2 tomolo, and tree top walk again on sat! yipee!

las day of the yr
very happy today coz throat itchy, las min recall BMP for a ktv session before the yr end!
we went Liang Court, the lightings are kind for taking fotos =)
... and juz before we end, i spilled my bubble tea and hit tibit bowl. Mian, and tadaa! we got cereal with milk!
hehe. ok, a quick recap of what i did for xmas.
++ the stada Libbon sisters did an early one with lunch at great world kenny rogers
++ xmas eve @ peng's new hse with the gossipers. theme: bling-bling hip-hop xmas this yr. we make-up with darkest foundation found at the revlon shelf, and wore our tee we painted on national day. result? see below:
++ and after this, i joined the cows at Wine Hut. Theme: My Super Hero. apparently most of them cld get gift tht fit tht theme. me - i toured orchard for 3 hrs, and only managed to get a little nemo tank fr borders. but it's super and cute n nice, wahaha!
++ met angie, mae & jessie las nite for a post-xmas dinner. always benefited fr the sharing of life stories with these gals. angie juz came back fr cambodia for Project Happy Feet. I hope more ppl will extend kindness, and those who hvnt realise yet, we are indeed very very lucky.
i dun usually hv resolutions, coz i knw it doesnt work. but maybe i shd hv one for coming yr: i wan to be more couragous and confident, so that I am able to take care of myself, and then my loved ones.
see u nex yr folks!

fast forwarded
ami is returning to sydney nex wk.
it didnt hit me very much in the first 5 mins when she first tell me. she jus called to say the embassy is giving some headaches and her lawyer advise her to return soon so tht they can take over. she has prepare us for a few mths by now, and we hv been talking abt it... so, yes, the cows are certainly going to miss her. but we didnt dream it'll be so soon.
after blabbering over the phone for a while, the news suddenly sank it. and joyce has left for her europe holiday that ami wont be able to see her before she return to syd. the chok suddenly came, and tears roll down my cheeks, just like tt. no more crazy laughter, no more friday nite movies with her crazy recommendations. no more humble hut outings and insane movie marathon nites. no more sleepy eyes looking at me while i go on complaining abt my work over impromptu dinners at sushi tei and toast box.
but we all knw it's for every good reason that she's returning. just tht lao-tian pressed the fast-fwd button and suddenly she need to leave next week.
we will see u in nine mths, ami!!
