As Your Heart Desires

Have been receiving eNewsletter from MetaCircle. the author is one of our associates, and she maintains a blog here. Many of which I can identify with, and it turns out to be some notes of encouragement.

I am a believer in the power of mind. my yoga teacher (or was it tarot teacher?)once said, keep dreaming. dream of anything u wan, and it may come true. for which any greatest invention would hv first started in the mind of the inventor.

Here it is, an abstract from the newsletter.

A Very Happy and Prosperous New Year to you. How did your new year start? Any new plans, goals, vision in sight? Or have you given up on making resolutions?

Take a look back at where you have arrived. Did you not at one time wished for certain aspects of your life, whether it be something material like your own home, your new car, your corner office or even your new mobile phone or bag/shoes ... or some intangibles like your dream vacation, seeing new places, your job, your promotion, time off, chosen lifestyle, time with the family, provision for loved ones and so on?

You know, somewhere along the way, you must have wished for it. Sometimes it may seem like wishful thinking on cloud 9. But it happened. Dreams do come true. If only you would dream. When it is ecological, it might just come true.

So what's stopping you from dreaming your goals in life? Do you envision it happening? I do. Many times, I have set goals for events and some creature comforts, they materialise. Surprise, surprise. And yet not, as they have been on my list. Even the most minute and simplest goal did not go astray.

Every Chinese New Year, my favourite greeting would be "心想事成". Simply translated it says, "What you heart/head desires, may it come true." I sometimes wonder how seriously people would take this statement to heart. It's a very powerful statement which I have engraved in my heart.

So start with your list of goals. Be careful what you put down as those dreams may just come true. And be forewarned through, some goals may take longer to reach than you expect.

so folks, i wish you: 心想, 事成.
