The Southern Ridges

wah. my sis went to Taiwan yesterday afternoon. i have the whole room to myself for 1.5 days by now. and i'd like to declare - i'm totally bored and lonely!

it's not the same when u come home and find no one to talk to, to share how's ur day's been. i tok to my mama too, but still, Mei, i missed you! and i need to bite the lonely bullet for another 7 days. argh!

some of the cows met on fri and we discuss going to Mt Faber for a walk, just to do something healthy on a sunday morning. so we there we were, finishing the whole trail of Southern Ridges!

We took a bus up Mt Faber and started there, we finish the whole thing in less than 2hrs. We say we are not going to hv prata for lunch this time. but we went marche! haha.. we made conscious efforts to share food and eat light.

I'm stil stuck with my guitar. I'm really looking fwd to be able to play the tunes correctly.

and lastly.. xmas is coming. :)

New Buckets for SaL

i like to make snap shots of the food before i eat, esp at dinners and gatherings, i'll be the first to get the camera ready. and my pals knw me - they'll keep their hands off the dishes until i'm done with the snapping. hehe..

one day mr lee asked: u take so many pictures for wat? do u hv a blog for them or do u post it to somewhr?

oh oh... no leh. maybe i shd. or else take for wat? so i decided to start sharing photos and get serious abt photography. here's my little corner at photobucket ^_^ i'll continue to update other themes too.

i've also signed up for guitar lessons at tiong bahru CC. The guitar Soo passed to me has collected 5mm of dust, and I've mumbled for the past 100 yrs that i wanna learn to play the instrument. Also, in preparation for my venture next yr, i finally registered myself for it.

there's too much things said and not done. u can find tht piece of time and mind for it too! hv fun!

took leave this morning. a last minute thing. just didnt feel like working.

laze ard, took a nap, and ran some errands. after dinner, i took out my long outstanding movies, and decided to pick this one for the nite.


it's good. i like it a lot - the music, the story, the 60s fashion & settings... and of coz, Beyonce. She's reali pretty! Towards the end of the story, Beyonce (as Deena Jones) finally falls out with her hubby-cum-producer/manager. She finally sees tht he isnt the man for her, and she isnt doing very much of what she wanted.

And I personally prefer this scene from the movie over the MV, very got feel!
