had a fun time with DIY japanese nail art at Jeluntung CC this afternoon. there's abt 15 of us ladies, and its all pinky, floral & girly stuff. all were seated and waiting. Class is half-hr late.

there's this 2 persons infront of the room, busy sorting out the tools & nail art stickers. finally the guy in specs who distributes us the stickers speaks up, 'hi everyone, mai hv ur attention pls? ... erm, welcome, i'm Bertram. and i'll be your trainer for today..." haru almost fell fr chair.

but this young chap did prove tht sterotyping is not rite. he knws his stuff.

within ourselves. with choices. with our work. with wat ppl did to us.

i'm a little confused today. i'm glad ami came online.

she told me a story abt of one of her classmate. this lady who was retrenched from her high-fly career of more than 10yrs at the bank. after much crying and feeling bad for herself, she sold her hse which is stil under loan, and went on a little trip to find her path. she realise she need some skills, so she took a course though she may not like it.

she's now happily in love, taking part-time child care studies and is working at a child-care ctr, helping them using her expertize to manage their finances.

wat if she fought on desperately, felt bitter, kept her house? when life's treating you bad, maybe you shd jus "温柔地过日子".

there are many others who should hv more grievances than we do. the one boy lose his legs when all he wanted was to check if anyone needs help at the accident scene. families who has lost their love ones due to serious food poisoning by the indian rojak. and the rojak man, he would live in guilt for the rest of his life, i'm sure he wldnt hv even dream of this happening to him.

what are my little grumblings compare to these.
